Swimming in Her Sea of Shoes

March 24, 2009

Jane Aldridge is young.  Like, really young.  But before you starting discrediting our blog and Ms. Aldridge, take some time to look at her amazing personal style.  On Sea of Shoes, Jane muses about all things fashion: from inspiration boards to runway photos, she writes about them all.  Moreover, she infuses character by adding a great dose of images featuring said fabulous personal style.  In reading the blog, it is easy to see that fashion runs in the family.  Her mother was a former model who spent many years of her career in Tokyo, Japan.  It’s no surprise then that Jane’s closet is filled to the brim with Junya Watanabe, Comme des Garçons, and other designers of similar ilk.  She mixes couture pieces with the vintage ones that she has amassed from her frequent trips to stores around her native Dallas and now, it would seem, Austin as well.  What should strike you as the best part of her wardrobe is her extensive collection of amazing footwear.  Margiela, Balenciaga, Marni, Givenchy, Ann Demulemeester, the list keeps going.  Sneak a glimpse of the greatness here.

We would like to thank Jane for stopping by out store and her mention of us on her blog.
