Austin Blogger Series 2009

Blogs are all the craze right now and are becoming more and more influential in our world of fashion/art/culture. To celebrate the inspiration and influence of blogs, we invited four lovely bloggers from Austin to participate in this feature we are calling the Austin Blogger Series.

Later this week, the lookbook will be posted on the site full of photos with our bloggers as models dressed from head-to-toe with their favorite Buydefinition pieces! Each blogger was invited to the showroom to choose their own wardrobe for the photo shoot. We must say it was interesting to see each individual bloggers’ personal style shine through! From classic silhouettes, to girly prints, and rocker-chic, I think we’ve got something for everybody in this neat feature ๐Ÿ™‚

The photo shoot was taken at the infamous Cathedral of Junk located in south Austin. What a sight for sore eyes! This place is a photographer’s dream and it was so fun shooting there – despite getting feasted on by mosquitoes (sorry, ladies).

Now, here’s a little bit about our featured bloggers! (Featured in the photos above, L to R:)

Tiffany Diane is the author of austinisburning, a personal blog focused on her passion for music, fashion, and art. She is always up to date with the hottest music scenes in the ATX and with that said, has great music taste ๐Ÿ™‚ She is currently studying Multimedia Journalism at UT and will certainly be someone to look out for in the future!

Dagny P. is one of the contributors of helloooooo, a blog consisting of a group of friends spread across the globe from Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Paris, and Austin with Dagny contributing her photography for features like Polaroid Wednesdays. She never leaves home without her handy little Polaroid Spectra camera and also works as a fashion photographer. Her passions are photography, design, and of course, fashion!

Indiana Adams runs the blog adoredaustin and is quite a lovely character! She lives for fashion but is also an actress and aspiring writer. Upon first meeting her, two things are certain – she will make you smile and laugh – guaranteed! Indiana loves to share her latest fashionable finds – check out her blog to see how she experiments with different trends.

Isabel L. shares her daily muses, as well as her current projects on her blog, AnimalTalk. She is extremely talented, especially in sculpture/3D art and aspires to study in New York or London after she graduates. That’s right, she’s still in high school! You couldn’t tell though, she’s got impeccable taste and is dainty and graceful. Check out her blog to keep up with what inspires her in art, music, and fashion.

Take a moment and show these local bloggers some love! Visit our website in a few days to check out the lookbook to see what each blogger’s style is! Also, there will be a video with footage from the shoot, interviews, and outtakes from the shoot! We’ll keep you posted when that will be up! ๐Ÿ™‚
